The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania strongly condemns the terror attacks that were carried out today in Brussels, killing innocent people. We offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims.
This brutal act of terrorism is an attack not just on the people of Belgium, it is an attack on the whole of international community and the universal values that we share. Lithuania stands in solidarity with the people of Belgium. Only through joint efforts can we root out terrorism, therefore, Lithuania firmly commits to continue supporting the efforts of Belgium and the international effort to combat terrorism.
Currently, the Embassy of Lithuania in Belgium has no information about Lithuanian citizens who suffered in the attacks in Brussels.
