I am also confident that contacts in research, culture, education, and innovation – developed by our people – will bring mutual benefits, make our nations stronger and ensure the welfare and security of our citizens and all Europeans," the President wrote in her message of congratulations.
President Grybauskaitė wished the Swiss President continued success, wisdom and resolve in working for the good of the people of his country.
