"The company has submitted documents showing that its qualifications meet Belarus' road construction tender requirements. We expect some bidding processes for road upgrades to start next year," told Kauno Tiltai CEO Aldas Rusevicius.
According to the CEO, a considerable number of large-scale road building and modernization projects are being planned in Belarus.
"Our company has opened a representative office and certified specialists so as to be ready to participate in the bidding for such projects at any time," he said.
Trakcja PRKiI, the majority shareholder of Kauno Tiltai, says in its report for the nine months through September that the Kaunas-based company established its office in Minsk on Jul. 14.
Kauno Tiltai also has representative offices in Latvia and Poland and a subsidiary company in Sweden.
