Enterprises of almost all economic activities surveyed provided services mainly for residents. Income received from them made up from 54.1 to 89.8% of the total sales income. However, enterprises engaged in certain economic activities received the largest part of their sales income from non-residents: software publishing and market research and public opinion polling enterprises – from non-residents located in the European Union (EU) (84 and 56.2% respectively), employment enterprises – from non-residents located outside the EU (39.5%) and non-residents located in the EU (30.5%).
Compared to 2012, the sales income of most enterprises at current prices (VAT excluded) was on the increase. The fastest growth was observed in the income of software publishing enterprises (26.2%), the slowest – in the income of technical testing and analysis enterprises (6.2%). The income of enterprises engaged in market research and public opinion polling services and engineering and related technical consulting services decreased by 2.4 and 0.6% respectively.
