"UK's institutions also said that they have taken all actions to ensure that the current situation is resolved and the court proceedings are completed with satisfaction of the request of the Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office," the Lithuanian service said.
As reported, in January 2014, the Westminster Magistrates Court announced that it had approved of Lithuania's extradition request against Antonov and Baranauskas, former owners of the bankrupt bank Snoras.
Lithuanian authorities issued a European arrest warrant for the pair in November 2011 following a pre-trial hearing into the alleged multi-million fraud.
Lithuania nationalized the bank on 16 November, 2014, having concerns about the bank's assets. Afterwards, the bank was declared bankrupt. Baranauskas and Antonov owned 25.31% and 68.1% of the bank's shares, respectively.
