The event will be conducted in attendance of President Dalia Grybauskaite, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius, Speaker of the Seimas Loreta Grauziniene, Minister of National Defence Juozas Olekas, Chief of Defence of Lithuania Lieutenant General Jonas Vytautas Zukas, and other members of the Seimas, national defence system, and soldiers of the current US rotation in Lithuania.
Prior to the flag hoisting ceremony President Grybauskaite will mark State Day of Lithuania by giving state awards for merits to the Republic of Lithuania and glorifying the name of Lithuania. State awards will be presented to Lithuanian soldiers, Lithuanian guerrillas who had fought for Lithuania's freedom and members of the anti-Soviet resistance.
