Vilnius budget for 2015 to be revised: up by EUR 14.7 mln

On April 1st 2015, the Vilnius City Council will revise the city's budget for 2015 – it will be increased by EUR 14.7 million because Vilnius City Municipality will receive target funds from the state budget. The funds will be used for two top priority areas: science and education and renewal of city streets. EUR 11.7 million will be used to build, upgrade, and maintain streets and ensure safe traffic. After revision, Vilnius' budget will account for EUR 384.2 million.
