There is a tradition that the new eurozone countries organise an event to discuss the changeover process as well as the future challenges.
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with President of the European Council Donald Tusk and Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis. The meetings will discuss the Economic and Monetary Union as one of the priority discussion topics of the agenda for the European Council, with a view to ensuring stability of the euro and strengthening economy of the European Union member states. The meetings will also discuss energy, the situation in Russia and Ukraine, and the Eastern Partnership. The European Commission's Investment Plan for Europe will also be discussed.
