"Chinese people are tired from large cities and huge crowds of people; therefore, they would definitely appreciate Lithuania's nature, small towns and peacefulness, friendly environment and very high quality services. Moreover, you have very interesting and delicious cuisine, both national and European," said Xue Bai, manager of the Chinese tour operator Beijing Global Tour International, who visited Lithuania for the first time ever.
Representatives of the Chinese tourism market from such tour operators as UTour World, Beijing Good View Holiday, H.J.J.H. Business Travel International and HhTravel also took part in the Business Contact Fair in Vilnius. They discussed cooperation possibilities with 30 local and incoming tourism operators, organisers of conferences and events, representatives of hotels.
The number of Chinese tourists in Lithuania has been growing recently. The latest figures of the first 9 months of this year show that Lithuania this year was visited by nearly 10% more Chinese tourists than in the same period a year ago.
