The event was attended by over several hundred of business, academia and defence representatives from several dozen of countries worldwide. The Speaker list features warfare experts from NATO, scholars from the European Defence Agency (EDA), United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, Poland and more countries. Europe’s largest defence industry companies, such as Thales, WB Electronics, ST Engineering, and SAAB were represented at the Conference. The opening remarks at the event was delivered by Minister of National Defence Laurynas Kasčiūnas.
According to Minister L. Kasčiūnas, the war in Ukraine constantly reminds us about the importance of the forever changing role of advanced defence solutions on the battlefield. Technology means not only a break-through and supremacy, it improves resource-efficiency and helps to save lives.
