"Based on arrival punctuality within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time, the punctuality of our flights currently ranges from 88 to 90%. Our aim is the punctuality performance of 93%, ensuring us the name of the most on-time airline at Vilnius Airport," says Air Lituanica Director of Commerce SimonasBartkus. He adds that that airline has set itself an even more ambitious goal – to become the most punctual air carrier in Lithuania.
Since 31 August, Air Lituanica has been operating flights in cooperation with the British airline bmi regional, which has been the most punctual airline in the UK for the last seven years. It is namely due to this cooperation and other measures improving flight punctuality that Air Lituanica now has an opportunity to give an on-time arrival promise to its passengers.
Since the start of its operations on 30 June last year, the airline has continuously improved its on-time arrival statistics."Our promise to passengers is the most convenient way to travel to and from Vilnius, whereas flight punctuality is one of the key performance indicators describing travel convenience," Air Lituanica Director of Commerce reassured.
A flight delay is the difference between the scheduled and actual landing time.A passenger whose flight has been delayed for an hour or more may contact Air Lituanica Customer Care and receive a free ticket for another flight with the airline on any chosen direct route.
Air Lituanica flies from Vilnius Airport to the major airports in Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Munich, Paris, Tallinn, Billund and operated seasonal flights to the cities in Sweden, Gothenburg and Malmö, this summer. This autumn Air Lituanica aircrafts take off from Vilnius Airport 42 times a week.
