NSPA serves as the main platform for public acquisitions of products and services conducted by Lithuanian and other NATO Allies’ defence institutions. The NSPA delegation discuss running issues concerning the Boxer IFV and Panzerhaubitze 2000 program, progress of the artillery C2 system acquisition, and options for other critical procurements in the course of this visit.
Vice Ministers of National Defence, NSPA delegation and representatives of the Defence Staff and the Defence Materiel Agency are also consulting about other procurements directed at force modernization and providing conditions for the personnel.
NSPA leadership also met with a number of Lithuanian industry representatives to address the possibilities to involve the Lithuanian industry in the projects and acquisitions conducted by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency.
NSPA conducts the most critical infrastructure projects of the Lithuanian Armed Forces: development of conditions for training national capabilities and hosting Allied forces whose permanent presence is on Lithuania’s agenda.
