The hryvnia-to-euro exchange scheme will be available at the rate set by the National Bank of Ukraine until 5 December 2022, as foreseen in the agreement with the National Bank of Ukraine. This period may be extended if deemed necessary.
Ukrainian citizens wishing to exchange hryvnias into euro will have to present an identity document and a valid foreigner registration certificate issued by the Lithuanian Migration Department. Banknotes will be exchanged in the following denominations: 100, 200, 500 and 1000 Ukrainian hryvnias. Worn Ukrainian hryvnia banknotes and defective banknotes will not be exchanged. Coins will also not be exchanged.
