As reported, eurozone finance ministers approved Lithuania's eurozone membership this past June, but on July 16 the European Parliament also approved the resolution for Lithuania's membership.
Lithuania gets final approval to adopt euro next year

Ministers at today's European Union's General Affairs Council gave final approval for Lithuania to join the eurozone on January 1, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics announced on Wednesday. As reported, eurozone finance ministers approved Lithuania's eurozone membership this past June, but on July 16 the European Parliament also approved the resolution for Lithuania's membership.
