Vaccination without getting out of a car is very convenient for seniors and people with mobility problems. Also, the new vaccination site will come in handy for those who become tired of testing every week and waiting in line. They will be able to choose the nearby vaccination site instead.
According to the plans, there will be a possibility for 100-150 residents per day to be vaccinated at the site. Moderna and Vaxzevria (formerly known as AstraZeneca) vaccines will be used in the first week.
Just like in other vaccination sites and vaccination buses running around Vilnius, getting a vaccine at the new site at V. Gerulaičio g. 1 will be possible without any registration. Having an identity document will be enough. Residents can also walk to the site – everyone willing to get a vaccine will be able to do that at this site.
As usual, waiting in a car for 15 minutes after getting a vaccine will be necessary in the designated parking area under the supervision of a specialist. People having walked to the site will be able to sit down in the equipped rest area after vaccination.
Routes of vaccination buses
On Saturday, the vaccination bus will continue its journey closer to homes of Vilnius residents. Vaccination in the vaccination bus will be available quickly, conveniently and without registration in four places in the city:
• From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the vaccination bus will wait in Šiaurės miestelis, next to the RIMI store (Žirmūnų g. 64);
• From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. it will be at the Halės market (Pylimo g. 58);
• From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. it will arrive at Pilaitė, at the MAXIMA store (Pilaitės pr. 31), and Žirmūnai, at the parking lot of IKI store (Žirmūnų g. 2).

LITEXPO will be open till the autumn
On Saturday and Sunday, Vilnius residents will also be able to get vaccinated at the city’s main vaccination center LITEXPO, which will remain open for another month at the least, taking into account the dynamics of vaccination and infections in recent weeks and the fact that pupils and students arriving to the town will want to get vaccinated before the start of the school year. Residents can come to LITEXPO without registration Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Vaxzevria (formerly known as AstraZeneca) will be offered here over the weekend.
Vaccination site opened at the Lukiškės Square also offers the possibility to get a COVID-19 vaccine. It is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and this Sunday – from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vaxzevria (formerly known as AstraZeneca) vaccine will be available here.
