Due to coronavirus-related operational restrictions, air transport companies, travel agencies, excursion organizers, providers of reservation services and companies involved in related activity saw their revenue plunge 63.3% in the third quarter.
Transport and storage companies posted 3 billion euros in revenue at constant prices, up 3.1% from the second quarter.
Companies involved in land transport services and transport services via pipelines as well as warehousing and support activities for transportation saw their turnovers grow 5.8% and 5.2% respectively. Meanwhile, waterway transport companies posted a revenue drop of 1.9%.
