The country was under a nationwide quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic from March 16 through June 17.
"It is likely that bankruptcies are on hold as business owners (...) wait for the second half of the year, when the economic situation and business direction will be clearer," Scorify CEO Zilvinas Milerius said.
A survey of the businesses that declared bankruptcy this year has found that most of them had problems back in early 2018.
Almost 40% of them had no employees and were embroiled in court disputes over debts back then.
In April, the Lithuanian parliament passed a law allowing businesses not to file for restructuring or bankruptcy for three months after the lifting of the quarantine.
