If such persons enter Poland by not driving a truck, they must provide additional evidence to Polish state border guards, the SBGS said.
"Quite a number of truck drivers start their journeys in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland or other country. They arrive in their workplace not in a truck but often use a van of the company or several companies. The Poles have now started carrying out very thorough checks on those not travelling in trucks and barring them," Giedrius Misutis of the SBGS .
Such drivers are required, besides usual documents, to also provide their employment contract or the trip order to Polish.
The SBGS figures show that Poland has already banned 40 foreigners from Lithuanian since Thursday night after they failed to provide evidence of their permanent workplace and goods transportation.
