"This support will be allocated to deal with the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis and could be used for the upcoming six months," Paulius Vertelka, public policy manager for the Baltic states at Google, told a press conference on Thursday.
"Advertising support of up to 10,000 US dollars will be allocated to every approved non-governmental organization," he said.
Google will also allow them to use the G Suite toolbox free of charge, and the package will include an email, data storage, video calls and other tools needed for remote activity.
Only organization pre-approved by Google's partner TechSoup will be able to use the free tools and receive advertising support.
