"At present trade volume of agricultural and food products between Lithuania and Brazil is not large, yet having received permits to export fish, milk and meat products, we will be able to supply high quality products to the Brazilian market," said Jukna.
On Monday, the Lithuanian minister will meet with Neri Geller, Brazil's Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply.
The aim of the meeting is to discuss possibilities to activate trade relations, to facilitate the procedure fish and milk export permit to Brazil.
In 2013, Lithuania's exports of agricultural and food products to Brazil amounted to EUR 236,000, while total Lithuania's exports of agricultural and food products accounted for EUR 4.7 billion.
