Only several enterprises planned to introduce new business management models and to invest in the staff management innovations.
According to the data presented by the SEB bank, the biggest number of the companies planning the innovations in 2014 was the Estonia's small and medium-sized enterprises. Nearly half of the companies in Estonia planned the innovations. Moreover, the broader understanding of the innovations was predominating in this Baltic State.
One fifth of the Estonia's small and medium-sized enterprises planned to install the innovations related to the staff's managements. In Latvia, 37% of the enterprises planned the innovations and this was a little bit more than in Lithuania.
According to Member of the Management Board and Head of the Corporate Banking Virginijus Doveika, the reserved plans of Lithuania's small and medium-sized enterprises related to the innovations was reflected in the European Commission's innovation ratings as well. Lithuania was recognized as one of the moderate innovators.
