The largest passenger numbers went to and from the UK (45.3 thousand or 20.5% of all the passengers), Germany (24.8 thousand or 11.2%), Norway (19.4 thousand or 8.8%), Italy (16.8 thousand or 7.6%), Denmark (14 thousand or 6.3%) and Ireland (13 thousand or 5.9%).
As compared to January 2013, the number of the passengers who went to and from Italy increased by 18.7%, to and from Norway by 18.4% and to and from Germany by 1.6%. The number of the passengers who went to and from Ireland decreased by 5.7%, to and from Denmark by 6.9% and to and from the UK by 14.2%.
The majority of the passengers (95% of 209.6 thousand) went and from by the regularly flights. As compared to January 2013, the number of the passengers increased by 5.8%.
In January 2014, the country's airports handled 0.9 thousand tons of cargo and mail and this was 25% less, as compared to January 2013.
