"The new systems enables people to order services faster and more conveniently. The fact that it is no longer needed to visit municipalities is especially relevant to residents of rural areas and people with disabilities. Not only time but also journey expenses are saved," said Minister of Social Security and Labour Algimanta Pabedinskiene.
It is often more convenient to apply online – the system is operational around the clock, so there is no need to adapt to working hours of institutions. Applications will be reviewed by relevant municipality staff who will inform about the decision either using the system or by other form indicated by the applicant.
