From January 1 businessmen who invest in film production will pay lower corporate income tax, it will allow reducing costs of film production works done in Lithuania.
Corporate income tax will be allowed to be reduced by a sum invested in film production, yet this sum may constitute only 75% of corporate income tax payable by a businessman.
The relief will be applied both to Lithuanian and foreign film makers. It will be in effect until the end of 2018.
