New search for head of Lithuanian opera and ballet theater launched

The Lithuanian Culture Ministry launched on Thursday a new search to fill the post of director general at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater (LNOBT), informs. Dec. 21 is the deadline for submitting applications. The first attempt to find a new director failed as the applicants did not meet the minimum requirements. Sigitas Zutautas, a financial manager, was appointed as acting head of LNOBT after Gintautas Kevisas was last June fired from the job of director general, which he had held for 15 years, for placing himself in conflict of interest situations.
