The company, which is based in Taurage, in western Lithuania, has managed to reinforce its position in other markets, but that will not offset all the losses.
F.B. Production Director Audrius Simkevicius said that the company would post a decline in sales this year.
"We produced and sold around 600,000 square meters of wooden floor boards last year, but this year we will be happy if that figure reaches at least 500,000 square meters," he told the paper.
F.B. Production, which produces solely for export markets, expects to expand in the US market.
The company last year decided to build a new facility in Ukraine to process wood for the production of flooring in Taurage. The new facility in Ukraine, in which F.B. Production and its shareholders invested 0.5 million euros, has already launched wood processing operations and currently employs 20 people
