"Our goal is to offer user-friendly services to our passengers. As you know, some passengers feel frustrated due to the fear to miss the flight or to be late for the check-in and security or other procedures, so we hope the all-day check-in service will spare our passengers any additional inconvenience and help them plan their time better," says the CCO of Air Lituanica Simonas Bartkus.
Experience of foreign airports shows that this service is especially relevant for business passengers, who, having completed all security procedures, can use the spare time for meetings or for working in peace and quiet at the Vilnius Airport Business Lounge. The early check-in service is also relevant for passengers with small children, for persons travelling in groups and for those who want to spend more time in the airport shops and cafes.
"The Airport welcomes the ambition of the airlines operating here to improve the quality of their services. Introduction of the early check-in service allows passengers to use their time before the flight in different ways and more flexibly plan their arrival at the airport," says Evaldas Malakauskas, Head of Vilnius International Airport Aviation Services Unit .
The check-in for all Air Lituanica flights scheduled on the same day is available from 4:50 each morning until the last departure time on that day.
Currently, Air Lituanica operates flights to Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and Munich. By 2015, the airline company flight map will consist of 13-16 routes. It is planned to carry 500-600 thousand passengers every year.
