In October, the tempo of the reduction of the unemployment rate was slowed down and the labour market was no so active at the end of the autumn; however, the employers had registered 25.8 thousand of vacancies and this was 9.2% more as compared to the same period in 2012.
According to the data presented by the Labour Exchange, on November 1, there were more than 180 thousand of the unemployed people in Lithuania and this made up 9.9% of the working age population.
As compared to the same period in 2012, the registered unemployment sank by 0.7%.
From the beginning of 2013, the Labour Exchange has returned about 170 thousand of the unemployed Lithuania's people to the labour market.
