Lithuanian transport, accommodation services companies' revenue up 15.8% in Q2

Lithuania's transport, mail and courier, accommodation and services companies posted 5.1 billion euros in combined sales revenue, not including VAT, for the second quarter of 2017, up by a workday-adjusted 15.8% year-on-year, preliminary figures from the country's statistics office showed on Monday. On a workday-adjusted basis, transport and storage companies' second-quarter revenue jumped by 17.7% to 2.339 billion euros, and mail and courier companies' revenue increased by 8.1% to 35.2 million euros. Accommodation companies recorded an 18.7% rise in revenue for the period to 65.9 million euros, and services companies saw their revenue go up by 14.3% to 2.663 billion euros, Statistics Lithuania said.
