During the free conference youth will learn about global trends promoting entrepreneurship and listen to ideas of the world's gurus such as Bear Kittay, organiser of the Burning Man festival held in the USA, Jeff Burton, co-founder of "EA Games" company, and others.
The organisers pursue two goals: to inspire youth to do business and to offer them a possibility to consult with the professionals participating in the event.
Patron of this year's conference "Silicon Valley comes to the Baltics" is the founder of GetJar mobile applications shop and one of the most successful entrepreneurs of the new generation, Ilja Laurs, who knows Silicon Valley like the back of his hand.
Moreover, at least 15 world-famous entrepreneurs and public figures will arrive in Vilnius directly from Silicon Valley. Bear Kittay, organiser of the Burning Man festival held in the USA on a yearly basis, Jeff Burton, Head of Berkeley College business incubator SkyDeck and one of the founders of EA games, which developed The Sims and Need for Speed, Roman Kikta, founder of the venture capital fund Mobility Ventures and Peter Halacsy, one of the founders of Prezi.com presentation platform, have already booked flight tickets for the event.
About 20 start-ups from at least 6 countries are expected to come to the conference. It is estimated that the conference may attract approximately 2000 people not only from Lithuania but also from neighbouring countries.
