"We have increased flights to United Kingdom and Ireland as other airlines have decreased their flights supply for Lithuanians from abroad" - says Simonas Barkus, CCO of Air Lituanica.
S. Bartkus adds that regarding poor connection with London and Dublin, everyday the company receive many requests to organize flights to come back home for Christmas holiday: "We consider market laws when we work and it is a pleasure when they coincide with an opportunity to make thousands Lithuanian families happy".
Moreover, more and more people decide to spend holidays outside the country – visiting friends who live abroad or just go skiing to Alps. Therefore Air Lituanica has offered additional flights to Amsterdam on December 26th and to Munich on December 28th.
Air Lituanica will proceed 17 flights to England and Ireland from Vilnius International Airport and 15 from Palanga during the festive period. In England the company's aircrafts will land to and take off from London Gatwick, in Ireland – from Dublin International.
The passengers will be carried on board of the Small Planet Airlines 148-seater Boeing B737 and 180-seater Airbus A320, also aircrafts of Air Lituanica – 76-seater Embraer 170 and 86-seater Embraer 175.
