Vilnius with its ratio of 200 m2 of green areas per person boasts 93% citizens who agree with the statement "I am satisfied with life in Vilnius", showed Eurobarometer survey on quality of life in European cities. This study was initiated by the European Commission.
As many as 79 % Vilnius residents are satisfied with public spaces in Vilnius, 75 % are happy with green spaces and parks, and 59 % are content with air quality. 52 % of Vilnius residents agree that Vilnius is putting more effort in the combat with climate change.
In the joint Eurobarometer survey, Vilnius takes the 30th position of 79, beating Berlin, Helsinki, Strasbourg, Warsaw, Prague, Dublin, Barcelona, Riga, Paris and Rome.
