"TGW chose Lithuania because of its wealth of highly-qualified engineers, who possess excellent English proficiency and are willing to travel," the government's foreign investment promotion agency quoted TGW Northern Europe CEO Andy Smith as saying in a press release.
"Lithuania is also in a very good strategic location for servicing projects across our Northern European region, particularly Scandinavia," he said.
Invest Lithuania spokesman Egidijus Jurgelionis toldthat the company was already recruiting staff for the center.
TGW Logistics Group develops and implements individual automated logistics warehouse solutions for Amazon, Mango, Zara, Adidas, ASDA, Bentley Motors and other companies. It has a workforce of over 2,800 employees.
