New passenger car registrations in Lithuania jumped by 20% in January through March y-o-y to reach 5,524 units.
Estonia recorded an 8.1% growth to 5,869 units and Latvia posted a 4.6% annual increase to 4,064.
In March y-o-y, new car sales rose by 25.6% to 2,053 in Lithuania and went up by 10.4% to 2,232 in Estonia, but fell by 6.8% to 1,442 in Latvia.
Across the European Union, car sales grew by 8.4% to 4.141 mln cars in the three months and by 11.2% to 1.892 mln in March alone.
