In October 2012 the company has registered 170 road accidents, which were caused by the young drivers, but compared to the January; the number of the road accidents caused by the students was slightly lesser, approximately from 90 to 140. The similar data was recorded in the previous years.
The officials state that the largest cities have the biggest accident rate. For example in Kaunas and Vilnius the accident rate has increased by the 37%.
Company declares that there is a growing tendency of the road accidents. According to the forecast of the department of the traffic accidents of "BTA Insurance Company", this year we will witness a growth in road accidents by another 15-20%.
