Lithuanian consumer prices edge up 0.3% in Jan vs Dec

Lithuanian consumer prices edged up by 0.3% in January compared with December, marking the fifth straight month of inflation, figures from Statistics Lithuania showed on Tuesday. The consumer price index rose by 2.3% last month compared with a year ago and the average annual inflation rate was at 1%. Prices for consumer goods increased by 0.3% m-o-m and were up by 2.1% in y-o-y terms. Services prices grew by 0.2% and 2.9%, respectively.
