"Before the holiday and inter-holiday season, there is a strong surge of our countrymen looking to return from England and Ireland to Lithuania, as well as of those looking to visit their loved ones who live in those countries. Therefore, we will be offering flights that will help people visit each other more quickly and easily," said Air Lituanica commercial director Simonas Bartkus. "People are used to planning their Christmas vacations ahead of time, so we've decided to begin selling tickets to London and Dublin today. Ticket costs start at 299 Lt one-way."
A total of 48 flights have been planned for the season – 14 from Vilnius International Airport and 10 from Palanga. The routes will take passengers to London Gatwick airport in England or Dublin Airport in Ireland.
Passengers will fly on Small Planet Airlines flights – the 148-seater Boing B737 and the 180-seater Airbus A320. A total of 6700 seats will be offered to passengers.
Tickets for all direct and connecting Air Lituanica flights can be purchased on the carrier's website – www.airlituanica.com. Later, tickets will also be available on other ticket search sites, as well as at travel agencies.
