Danas Janulionis, head of strategic planning at Amber Grid, Lithuania's natural gas transmission system operator, told that they would ask INEA two extend two financing agreements.
Amber Grid and Poland's gas transmission system operator Gaz-System have signed an agreement with the EU agency on 295.4 mln euros in financial aid for the project and another agreement on 10.6 mln euros in support for preparatory works.
"We are planning to turn to INEA together with our Polish partner (and ask it) to amend the financial assistance agreements. Our side is changing the project implementation schedule and completion date," told Janulionis told.
