"This was one of the longest processes of public sales of a single object in the history of Snoras' bankruptcy. The building was first put on offer back in 2013, a total of five stages of auction was held until a single buyer offering the minimum price appeared. The bank's property was not of the best possible quality," the bank's bankruptcy administrator Gintaras Adomonis said in a press release.
The initial price for the building was set at 1.83 mln euros but was later reduced.
At the end of August, the bank sold a villa in the French resort of Nice for 1.95 mln euros.
