The opening ceremony takes place at 9.30 CET and from 10.00 CET people are able to visit information stands, participate in games and challenges and enjoy the artistic events and conferences.
As this year's theme is United in Diversity, political satirist and 2011 Sakharov Prize laureate Syrian cartoonist Ali Ferzat, a well-known critic of the Syrian regime, will participate in a debate between MEPs and the public from 11.00 to 14.00 CET.
