Nevertheless, Neringa Rastenyte, the head of real estate deals at the Newsec group, says there are signs of growth of investments in Vilnius in the coming years due to increase in activity in office rent, new appetite of investors and the expected considerable increase in the volume of investment deals of modern offices. In her words, Vilnius should exceed Riga and Tallinn, at least, in the sector.
In Vilnius, the investment indicator in the office segment crossed the 100 million euro threshold, however, investments in the Lithuanian capital in commercial real estate were among Europe's lowest, leaving Vilnius the 38th among 39 rated cities.
