"The problem now is not just new markets but also the decrease in prices, therefore, the income remains rather low regardless of exports," the daily cited Egidijus Mackevicius, the head of the Lithuanian Association of Meat Processors, as saying.
According to Verslo Zinios, pork exports grew by 26% to 24.7 million euros in 2015 year-on-year.
Pork producers are still faced with problems of low prices and swine fever.
