"The efficiency of operations is improving, (…) we are ensuring financial stability not only by raising our revenues but also by managing operational costs," the company's CEO Gediminas Almantas said in a press release.
Lithuanian Airports said its revenue grew by 12% to 24.5 million euros over the period, including 15.3 million euros (60%) generated by income from aviation operations, which swelled by 10% from 2014 to 2015 due to the broader network of flights (the number of destinations increased by 15 last year year-on-year).
Last year, the number of passengers in the airports of Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga totaled at 4.2 million people, indicating a rise by 11.3% from 2014.
