The largest passenger numbers last month flew to and from Britain (69,500, or 23.2% of the total number), Germany (30,900, or 10.3%), Norway (25,300, or 8.5%), Denmark (25,100, or 8.4%), Italy (20,400, or 6.8%), and Ireland (13,800, or 4.6%).
The country's airports handled a total of 900 tons of cargo and mail, down 7.3% year-on-year.
Lithuania's air carriers saw their total passenger numbers decline by 5.4% in January from a year ago to 23,700 passengers. Their total cargo and mail volumes fell by 23.4% to 31 tons.
