The Polish-owned crude refinery Orlen Lietuva last year remained the number-one taxpayer with 309.764 million euros, down by 19.5% year-on-year, followed in second place by the tobacco manufacturer Philip Morris Baltic with 188.087 million euros, up by 11.1%.
The oil product wholesaler Okseta was in third place with 181.813 million euros, up by 1.7%, followed by the supermarket chain Maxima LT in fourth with 121.812 million euros, up by 9.9%, and by the wholesale trade and logistics company Sanitex in fifth with 115.553 million euros, almost a three-fold increase.
Further down the list were the oil product retailer Statoil Fuel & Retail Lietuva with 107.153 million euros, the alcohol import and trade company Mineraliniai Vandenys with 97.291 million euros, the Finnish-owned unmanned filling stations operator Neste Lietuva with 78.640 million euros, the oil product retailer Lukoil Baltija with 64.151 million euros, and the state-owned energy holding company Lietuvos Energija (Lithuanian Energy) with 58.164 million euros.
