Lithuania's new truck sales last year surged by 70.5% year-on-year to 3,609 units, from 2,117 units in 2014. Latvian sales soared by 41.3% to 1,383 units while Estonian sales slid by 0.4% to 703 units.
In December year-on-year, Lithuania's sales increased by 76.9% to 230 units. Latvia's sales rose by 6.1% to 70 units and Estonia's sales plummeted by 57.9% to 16 units.
The overall truck market in the EU last year grew by an annual 19.4% to 260,100 units and in December alone – by 22.4% to 20,800 units.
