The company said in a press release that it had won a bidding process to build the boiler plant and signed a contract on Dec. 30. The project is being financed by the World Bank.
Donalda Tumaityte of Enerstena told BNS that the contract had been signed with the district heating supplier in the town of Chervyen.
According to the press release, Enerstena is to design, manufacture and install the equipment by April 2017. The facility in Chervyen will have two 5 MW and one 2 MW biomass boilers and two natural gas fueled boilers with a capacity of 3 MW each.
