East Capital filed a lawsuit with the Regional Court of Panevezys asking to order Trumpa to pay 11.474 mln. euros to Rokiskio Suris so as to compensate the company for the damage sustained.
On Dec. 29, the court seized Trumpa's assets of the same value.
Trumpa told BNS that the sole purpose of such actions taken by East Capital was to force Rokiskio Suris to buy out the 4.96% stake owned by the Swedish company in the dairy producer at a higher price.
He added that he had contested the decision made by the Regional Court of Panevezys before the Court of Appeal of Lithuania.
