In November alone, the total number of arriving and departing passengers increased by 14.2% year-on-year to 313,100 passengers. Month-on-month, it fell by 24.7%.
The largest passenger numbers in the eleven months flew to and from Britain (759,500, or 19.3% of the total number), Germany (380,300, or 9.7%), and Norway (314,000, or 8%).
Year-on-year increases this year were recorded in passenger numbers to and from Spain, at 39.3%, Turkey, at 20.69%, and Denmark, at 19.6%.
The country's airports this year handled a total of 13,800 tons of cargo and mail, up 13.8% from a year ago.
The total number of arrivals and departures by local and foreign-owned aircraft increased by an annual 5% to 45,900, the statistics office said.
Lithuania's air carriers saw their total passenger numbers rise by 27.4% in the eleven months through November from a year ago to 630,200 passengers, provisional figures from Statistics Lithuania showed on Tuesday.
Passengers on non-regular flights, up 53.3% year-on-year to 571,600 passengers, accounted for 90.7% of all passengers carried in January through November.
In November alone, the country's airlines carried 16,100 passengers –- down by 79.3% month-on-month and down by 42.1% year-on-year.
The total volume of cargo and mail handled by the country's air carriers during the eleven months increased by 14.2% from a year ago to 771 tons.
