The Presidents of Lithuania and Hungary will discuss bilateral relations and topical NATO and EU questions: the implementation of NATO security and deterrence measures agreed in Wales, preparations for the upcoming NATO summit in Warsaw and joint EU efforts to overcome the migration crisis.
The Presidents will meet with Lithuanian and Hungarian servicemen and observe a fighter jet flyby performed by Hungarian deployment at NATO's air policing mission.
For the first time, four Hungarian fighter jets are stationed in NATO's main air policing mission base in Zokniai. Together with four German fighter jets in Amar, Estonia, they protect the Baltic airspace.
It is a tradition for the Hungarian President to visit Hungarian servicemen in foreign missions before Christmas.
